Product Safety

Love Empire’s products are available to adults aged 18 and over. Read the label before handling any product and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, warnings and storage requirements.

Products are not intended for inhalation or human consumption. Never swallow the contents.

Handling and Storage

Products in our collection contain alkyl nitrites. Check each bottle for its specific ingredients and hazards.

  • Keep bottles upright, tightly closed and in their original labelled containers.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Keep away from flames, sparks, cigarettes, heat and other ignition sources. These products are highly flammable.

  • Store according to the manufacturer’s instructions, away from direct sunlight.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

  • Do not deliberately inhale the vapour or inhale directly from the bottle.

  • Do not transfer the contents into drinks containers or mix them with other substances.

  • Do not use a damaged or leaking bottle.

If the Product Is Swallowed

Call 999 or go to A&E immediately. Do not wait for symptoms.

​

Do not induce vomiting. Do not give food, milk, water or other drinks unless a healthcare professional instructs you to do so.

​

Keep the bottle or label available to show medical staff, if safe. Do not drive yourself to A&E.

 
If the Product Gets into Your Eyes

Immediately rinse the eye with plenty of clean, lukewarm water for at least 20 minutes. Hold the eye open and use a gentle flow of water.

​

Do not rub the eye. Seek urgent medical help and continue rinsing while help is arranged. Go to A&E or call 999 if there is severe pain or any change in vision.

​

If the Product Gets onto Your Skin

Remove contaminated clothing and rinse the affected skin thoroughly with running water. Follow the first-aid instructions on the label and obtain medical advice if there is burning, irritation or concern about the exposure.

​

Harmful Vapour Exposure

Move to fresh air if it is safe to do so.

​

Call 999 for severe breathing difficulty, collapse, a seizure, loss of consciousness or blue or grey lips. If you suspect poisoning, seek medical help immediately. If you are unsure whether an exposure is harmful, contact NHS 111.

 
Important Health Warning

Exposure to alkyl nitrites can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure and interfere with the blood’s ability to carry oxygen.

 

Combining them with erectile dysfunction medicines such as sildenafil (Viagra) or tadalafil (Cialis) can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Do not combine them.

Damaged or Leaking Products

Keep away from ignition sources and avoid contact with the liquid or vapour. Do not post a leaking bottle back to us.
